Allison's specialties include working with children, women, and maternal mental health. Collectively, she is experienced in helping clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, grief, and trauma. Her holistic, integrative, and creative approach aims to provide clients with a counseling experience tailored to their diverse needs.
She is experienced in working with children and adolescents between the ages of 2-18 using play therapy-informed and creative expressive approaches. She views parents as partners in the therapy process and she strives to help the family system foster growth in the child collaboratively.
Allison is experienced in serving mothers in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and those who have experienced birth trauma, child loss, life transitions in motherhood, and other maternal mental health concerns. She is experienced in helping women who want to improve their self-worth and process traumatic experiences.
For all ages, Allison aims to empower and promote healing in survivors of sexual exploitation and abuse trauma including, physical sexual abuse, trafficking, child pornography, and other adverse experiences through an empathic and compassionate approach.
